Rainbow Chan: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

se·pi·a/sēpēə/

Noun. A reddish-brown color associated particularly with monochrome photographs of the 19th and early 20th centuries.

Remember Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind? As Jim Carey’s memory is erased, he runs from the disappearing memories as they melt away. That’s the kind of thing that Rainbow Chan‘s music brings to my mind. There’s a great story told in her music and sometimes it seems as if your trapped in the electronic kaleidoscope that weaves itself around you. The mix of electronics was daunting at first but if you can give in to it, it’ll take you somewhere wonderful.

Her music in one word? Sepia.

Apples & Pears

Star Picking

Sweet Tooth
